Oshkosh Helical Pier Installation
This beautiful pier in Oshkosh, WI, had started to tilt into the lake it overlooked. Worried the supports might give, the owner had to close off the popular spot for safety reasons. He decided to contact MUDTeCH™ contractors for a repair estimate. We inspected the deck and found the concrete piles were sinking into the lakebed, a major problem. We removed the concrete and installed steel helical piers into the Oshkosh soil. Our advanced equipment drilled deeper than the original piles until we found dry bedrock. The new piles used this to form a stronger foundation to support the deck. The pier was leveled out and visitors were once again allowed to enjoy the beauty of the lake from this spot without fearing a collapse.
